Plus 2

Studying +2 is the most preferred choice for the majority of students in Nepal.

According to the National Examination Board new legislature, students must secure a minimum of 1.6 GPA and at least a D+ grade in Social Studies to pursue +2 courses in Nepal. Students can choose one of the four streams such as Science, Management, Humanities and Education at grade 11.

Choosing the right stream is an important decision for students, as it can be a backbone for your career option in the near future. For instance, students aspiring to study medicine, engineering or pure science in undergraduate level should take Science. Whereas, students can choose +2 management to pursue a career in business and management. The eligible criteria to study different education streams are shown below:

  • For +2 Science, Student must required 2.00 GPA with secure C+ in Compulsory Science and Mathematics, D+ in Nepali, English and Social Studies.
  • For +2 Management, Student must required 1.60 GPA with secure D+ in Science, Mathematics, Nepali, English and Social Studies.
  • For +2 Humanities, Student must required 1.60 GPA with secure D+ in Nepali, English and Social Studies.
  • For +2 Education, Student must required 1.60 GPA with secure D+ in Social Studies.
Admission Procedure

For Grade XI

Students who passed the SEE or equivalent with required criteria are eligible for admissions to the grade XI program. A strict admission process is in place to uphold the school’s tradition of excellence in academic, the arts and athletics. Faculty and authorities share the responsibility for student selection. Student selection is based on academic and non-academic considerations. 

For Other Classes

Admissions to other classes are on the basis of a written test and performance in previous schools. The age of admission to Nursery is 3, i.e., the child should have completed 3 years on or before 1st bishak of the year of admission.

  • Original Transfer Certificate
  • Duly attested copy of SEE Mark Sheet

For I to IX

  • Duly completed registration form
  • Three passport size photographs
  • A copy of Birth Certificate (Original to be produced for verification)
  • Original Transfer Certificate
  • Duly attested copy of last school Progress Report Card
